The kids had a fun Halloween...Shannon was Deron Williams (hmmm), Peter was a pilot (just like uncle Tyson), and Charlotte was just super cute!! She was a princess with wings, but we lost the wings before I had a chance to take pictures, oh well!! We went to a few houses then walked over to the church for trunk or treating...which is where the kids scored big time candy in about 10 minutes...it was awesome!!!
Game #2 for my little soccer stars! Shannon and Peter both scored goals today...they were so excited! Shannon played the entire game again, and her goal broke a 3-3 tie for the win! Peter's team lost...but he played really tough and continues to be the teams best defender! Charlotte helped me cheer them on...so cute! She will start playing next fall...we are already working on her ball handling skills! : )
Back to school for us today!! Shannon is in 3rd grade and Peter is in 1st this year...I know, I can't believe it either!! They grow up so fast!! The day started out with the kids breakfast fav...blueberry "puffy" waffles, new shoes and clothes (we love Sport Chalet!), ten tons of school supplies in the new backpacks, and we were off!! After school we all walked home together and I got the scoop on the days events!! They both had a great first day back, I think it will be an awesome year for them!! We also started back into soccer this week and have our first games on Saturday! We have been playing a lot in the backyard and having a lot of fun! They are very competitive... not sure where they get that from? :) They are good little athletes, and I am so excited for the season!!
The kids left for CA this morning and will be gone for a week! :(
I knew I would be missing out on a lot of snuggles, so at about 4 this morning I snuck them all out of bed and put them in with me!!
My baby girl Charlotte just turned 3 this last week...she is such a sweet little princess! Just look at that beautiful smile!
